About Me
I was born & raised in Berlin, Germany. After training in classical piano for 8 years, I started experimenting FL Studio at the age of 14, and began creating and uploading my own music to the internet shortly thereafter. At 18, I made the decision to move to New York City by myself to study Audio Engineering: this led me to the City College of New York (CCNY), where I enrolled in the Sonic Arts Department in 2022.
My studies focused on the processes of recording, mixing, editing and mastering music in Pro Tools and Logic Pro X. I also dedicated 1.5 years to post-production in surround, dialogue editing & scoring for film. The studio facilities allowed me to get acquainted with vintage, analogue equipment such as microphones, preamps and mixing consoles. It’s an experience I’ll always be grateful for.
During college I worked for a Paris-based independent music label (Deardogs) on the administrative & marketing side. As a college assistant at our school’s music library, I also worked in archival processing for 2.5 years. Since graduating in 2025, I have scaled up my freelance work. This has mainly consisted of bringing musicians into the studio to help bring their creative visions to life [see examples here]. But I’ve also gained experience scoring & sound designing films and running sound for independently hosted live shows.
I have continued releasing my own music, and even formed a band with my friends in 2025, Al Dayra. We play live in New York, so come see us if you’re interested! Thanks for reading if you’ve made it this far :)
